The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection aka IBPS is an autonomous agency in India which conducts all banking sector exams. IBPS is mandatory for the candidates who seek employment in RBI and public sector banks as well as Regional Rural Banks (RRB) IBPS conducts various exams such as PO Exam, Clerk Exam, RRB Exam & Specialist Officer Exam every year for many posts in IBPS Participating Banks and Institutions.

For preparing for IBPS exam first, you have to know the structure of this exam. IBPS Exam includes two levels as Common Written Exam (CWE) and Interview. The candidates who qualify CWE can appear for Interview. For IBPS Clerk and PO (probationary officer) there is one preliminary examination, the candidate who qualifies pre-exam to go for mains and after clearing main they can appear for the interview.

The first main part of IBPS is CWE, for this exam following point of focus:

Reasoning; This topic plays a vital role in any of online bank exam preparations. The reasoning is also an easily scoring part; you can score very good marks in it to put your overall score too high. Most of the questions in this part are the general and less time consuming. Reasoning should be the jam of your preparation for IBPS Exam.

General Awareness (GK); General Knowledge is a major fundamental part of any of IBPS banking exam. If you are aware of daily events and activities in India this part will be very easy for you. Atop everything, if you have daily newspaper habit and you read magazines, seriously you can easily score in most of the general knowledge section.

Guys these are two major parts in IBPS exams other than these you also have to focus on English/Hindi language, Quantitative aptitude, Computer knowledge, Professional knowledge and other fields respective to the post like if you are appearing for IT officer you need to know about programming basics, DBMS, networking etc. or if you are appearing for Agriculture Field Officer you need to know about Agriculture current affairs, Crop horticulture vegetables etc.

How to prepare for IBPS Exam?

  5. Time management is always important guys! Utilise the best of your study hours.
  6. Mock tests are saviours, seriously! Follow dumbs and appear as many mock tests as you can
  7. Revision is very important; revise your syllabus topic at least once before exam
  8. Perform like a hero, what you do at that final time that matters.

And most importantly eat healthy stay fit and rock your CWE exam and go bang the Interview.
